Ray McKenzie designed the "Xstatic Batcap" approximately 9 years ago.  It is a unique product, a hybrid if you will.  It is a power unit that combines the energy of a battery with the speed and high discharge rate of a capacitor.  This means intense power discharged at a maximum rate of speed, able to sufficiently meet the needs of the power-hungry amplifiers on the market today.

All the BatCaps, batteries, capacitors, and power products in the Xstatic Line are of the highest quality.  Ray has chosen not to compromise quality in order to decrease cost.  He feels this would be detrimental overall, not only to the reputation of Xstatic, but also to the customers who have made our business a success.  To manufacture our products with cheaper materials, such as used recycled lead, rather than virgin lead, would greatly decrease the quality of our products, there effectiveness in performance, and also the cycle life itself.

Over the course of the 9 years since Ray founded the Xstatic Corporation he has upgraded several of our products.  This upgrading has involved not only his time, but also an additional overall expense due to the increase in the cost of materials.  However, our dealer prices and suggested retail prices have remained the same.  Ray's sole purpose has been to further increase the quality of our products.

As President, CEO, and founder of the Xstatic Corporation Ray does not just sit behind a desk.  You will often find him in the lab or in the shop, donned with a leather apron working long hours right along side his technicians.  Although he is a busy man, Ray always takes the time to take a phone call, give technical support or answer whatever question a dealer or an individual may have.
